Its the Very Merry Month of May and there is a lot happening in Orlando this month!

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Show

All of May(March 6th – June 3rd)

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Show is still growing strong in May. Make sure you head to the butterfly exhibit when you g0. It closes by mid-afternoon though, so head in early!  With a special scavenger hunt, limited time souvenirs, specialty tours, exhibits and more, you’ll be glad you did! The Seven Seas Food Festival

Every weekend from mid-February through May you can head over to Sea World for a fantastic culinary event. A fleet of food trucks and booths from around the world has opened in the park. You can find new flavors, enjoy local craft beers and on Saturdays and Sundays there’s even live music! Bon Apatite.

These are some of the extra experiences you can find in Orlando this march. And even when you don’t need the extra incentive to take a trip, its nice to know that the parks have gone the extra mile to bring a little more magic to your next Orlando vacation! Hope to see you real soon.

Electric Ocean at Sea World

Starting on May 24, Sea World will kick off Sea World’s summertime extravaganza. With nightly dance parties, massive floating (and glowing) sea creatures and a spectacular fireworks show complete with dancing fountains and laser lights that show every night, this is one party you don’t want to miss!

MegaCon Orlando

MegaCon is the largest comic, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming event in the southeast, with over 100,000 fans each year! Join in for four days of panels, booths, cosplay events, gaming and so much more! This year’s guests include Zachary Levi (star of Shazam, Chuch and Tangled), the cast of Goonies, Doctor Who stars David Tennant and Billie Pipper,  the Cast of Back to the Future, Kiefer Sutherland and more!

Events include the Cosplay Grand Prix (Both national and international), Celebrity photo ops, autographs, shopping for all your fandom needs and artists from your favorite comic books. There are themed escape rooms, special cosplay photo packages, a full Star Wars Experience, Art Expos, Sketch Battles, Kid Costume Competitions and so much more!

MegaCon Orlando also hosts a massive Disney cosplay meet up, so if you love Disney, this is the place to go! There is also a chance to meet your favorite Disney voice actors, and there is even a 30th-anniversary panel for the Mickey Mouse Club!

Fri: 10:00AM – 7:00PM,

Sat: 10:00AM – 7:00PM,

Sun: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM And there are exclusive afterparties that you can purchase tickets for, so if you’ve ever wanted to go to the Enchanted Under the Sea Dance, this is your chance!   Single-day youth tickets will cost you $15 and $20 for adults. For more info head to  megaconvention.com

Orlando Festivals and More:

May 14th-27th: The Orlando Fringe Festival

This is a 14-day art, music and magic festival that takes place in Loch Haven Park just north of downtown Orlando. Exhibits include 140 live music performances, short plays, and magic acts as well as a visual art exhibition. Tickets cost $35 for general admission, with an additional $10 for any indoor plays. All outdoor art exhibits and performances are free and 100% of the ticket sales go back to the artists! There are also plenty of activities for the little ones during the event.
